More About Captain Ceronsky

Charles Thomas Ceronsky enlisted into the US Army Air Corps on Nov. 25, 1940. He joined as an Aviation Cadet. He received his commission and Pilot Wings at Kelley Field, Texas, in July 1941. Captain Ceronsky was assigned to the 446th Bomb Squadron, 321st Bomb Group and stationed at Walterboro Army Airfield, South Carolina. While on the way to a bombing range, Captain Ceronsky's B-25D crashed into the forest about 11 miles south of Walterboro. All three crewmen on the B-25 were killed. Captain Charles Thomas Ceronsky is buried at Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Antigo, Wisconsin.
