More About Sergeant Bryant
Sergeant Bryant enlisted Aug. 12, 1862. He enlisted in the 29th Wisconsin Infantry Regiment. He served as a sergeant with the 29th Wisconsin and, in May of 1863, participated in the Battle of Champion Hill, Miss., where he was wounded. Sergeant Bryant succumbed to this wound on the June 25, 1863. He is buried in Lake Mills with his wife Eunice and three of their children.
