More About Corporal Bagley

Corporal Bagley enlisted Jan. 14, 1942, in Los Angeles, California. He was sent to Hammer Army Airfield in Fresno, California to receive training as a radio operator. On Aug. 13, 1942, Bagley departed from a Naval Air Station onboard Lockheed A-29 Hudson s/n 41-23363 for tow target training. Their A-29 crashed into the Pacific Ocean, killing all on board. Corporal Bagley’s remains were immediately recovered, and he is laid to rest at Trinity Cemetery in Spring Grove, Minnesota.
