More About Ensign Perry

Ensign Perry went missing after the transport convoy (KG-123) he was on was attacked for a second time southeast of Guantanamo Bay. He was aboard the cargo vessel, "James Sprunt," that was sunk by a German submarine (U-185). The vessel was carrying explosives and went down in 30 seconds with all hands. He is now memorialized on the Tablets of the Missing at the East Coast Memorial in New York, N.Y.
