More About Captain Myers

Captain Myers studied Agricultural Engineering and was a member of the American Society of Agricultural Engineers. His senior year he served as a Sergeant and Second Lieutenant of the Cadet Corps.

Captain Myers was awarded the Silver Star. He was killed when the Japanese prisoner ship he was on sank off the Bataan peninsula in Subic Bay.

Capt. Myers was declared Missing in Action or Buried at Sea, and is now memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing at Manila American Cemetery in Manila, Philippines.
