More About First Lieutenant Brellenthin

First Lieutenant Brellenthin piloted a B-25 named “Pride of the Lakes of Wisconsin.” While attacking enemy troop concentrations near Cisterna, Italy, his plane became severely damaged. Brellenthin was killed when he swerved his damaged aircraft to avoid striking a hospital ship, lost control, and crashed into the sea.
