More About First Lieutenant Knudtson

Lieutenant Knudtson graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1912 and from George Washington University in 1914.

Lt. Knudtson applied and received admission to the Second Officers' Training Camp at Ft. Sheridan. He received his commission and was ordered to Camp Greene, NC in March, 1918. After completing his training at a variety of camps, he sailed overseas in May, 1918.

He died of wounds received in action near Nantillois, France.
